Integrated Pest Management

Safeguard utilizes IPM techniques
in all of our services.

IPM is a ecosystem-based strategy that focuses on long-term prevention of pests or their damage through techniques including exclusion methods, trapping, monitoring, and environmental evaluation. Our technicians and QA Managers are trained to identify structural deficiencies, sanitation concerns, and environmental factors that could lead to a number of pest control problems before these issues arise. Application of chemicals is seen as a last resort and are used in accordance with their labels and following all local, state, and federal guidelines.

IPM Process:

We follow a Five-Step IPM Process:

  • Regular Site Inspections
  • Identification & Evaluation
  • Discussions & Recommendations
  • Action
  • Follow Up
